Our client, a global manufacturer of confectionery products, is looking to engage with a marketing consultant who can work with them to create a new category in the snacks and biscuits space.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Help identify the trends in the snacks and biscuits space
2. Overlook the segments driving growth - volume, value and their expected trends
3. Identify the innovations and disruptions taking place in the space and implications and opportunity areas
4. Work with the client to prioritize segments to focus on, and rough sequencing
5. Jointly develop a Go -to-market approach for the prioritized segments, this will include:
- Product portfolio decisions
- Manufacturing/sourcing approaches
- Brand strategy
- Overall marketing approach
6. Work with internal stakeholders to develop an implementation plan with timelines and accountabilities and help put a project management process in place
- 10-15 years of experience in core marketing roles in a leading FMCG company is a must
- Experience in building a new category is expected
- Exposure to the snacks, foods and biscuits space will be a huge plus
