Our client is looking for an experienced professional who will be responsible and expected to deliver the following key areas:
1. Identify and cultivate startups with enterprise ready solutions
• Develop and execute strategy for outreach and attracting qualified startups
• Good understanding of the startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem
• Manage day-to-day interaction with startups and incubators
2. Build strong and lasting relationships with accelerators, platforms and ecosystem players to support innovation activities
• Keep ears to the ground on the latest developments in the industry wide platforms and initiatives (like NPCI, iSPIRT, etc)
• Develop and nurture relationships with such platforms and institutions and engage in a symbiotic relationship with them
• Network with other banks and FIs and use opportunities to combine forces for conducting joint hackathons
3. Conduct hackathons for solving real business problems with innovative tech solutions
• Partner with fintechs to innovate in existing products, channels or processes e.g. introducing a digital channel, or using AI for an existing process
• Partner for filling in product gaps or entering new product categories e.g. partnering with business cashflow platforms
4. Conduct POCs and evaluate viability across multiple businesses and scale up
• Successful hackathons to be converted into POCs with the support of specific business units
• Expansion of the solution across multiple business units or processes and opportunities for scale up
