Key Responsibilities

 

  • Advise on sales acceleration strategies for cable businesses across domestic and export markets.
  • Evaluate existing sales structures and recommend improvements in channel effectiveness, pricing, and market penetration.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance dealer-driven (B2C) and KAM-driven (B2B) sales performance.
  • Support development of growth roadmaps and “How to Win” strategies across target markets and product categories.
  • Provide deep market insights across India domestic markets and export regions including:
    • United States
    • Australia
    • Middle East
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, customer behavior, and channel dynamics.
  • Recommend go-to-market strategies for different geographies and customer segments.
  • Advise on channel strategy, dealer engagement, influencer management, and promotional schemes.
  • Support key account planning and strategic customer engagement initiatives.
  • Guide pricing strategy and sales enablement practices to improve market competitiveness.
  • Provide strategic inputs across cable segments including:
    • LT Cables
    • HT Cables
    • EHV Cables
    • Rubber Cables
    • Instrumentation Cables
  • Leverage industry expertise to benchmark best practices and identify market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams and business stakeholders to align sales acceleration initiatives with business goals.
  • Share actionable recommendations and implementation approaches based on prior industry experience.

Skills Required

Skills and Experience

  • Senior sales leadership experience within the cable industry.
  • Prior experience as CXO, National Sales Head, Business Head, or equivalent leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in both:
    • B2C dealer-driven sales
    • B2B enterprise/KAM-driven sales
  • Proven experience in sales transformation or sales acceleration programs for cable companies.
  • Exposure to consulting-led transformation engagements (e.g., collaboration with MBB consulting firms such as BCG, Bain, McKinsey, etc.) is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of domestic and export cable markets.
