Our client, a global specialty generic pharmaceutical company is looking to engage with a Consultant. The division houses a portfolio of well-known consumer health and wellness brands and is a strategic focus area for the leadership, with ambitious growth plans over the next three years.
Role Overview

The CXO / Business Head will be responsible for leading and scaling the FMCG business, driving growth across sales, distribution, and product innovation.

This is a high-impact leadership role requiring strong execution capability, cross-functional influence, and the ability to operate within a pharma-led organizational structure while building an FMCG-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the overall P&L and growth strategy for the FMCG / wellness division
• Drive sales and distribution expansion across markets
• Lead multiple product launches annually (3–4 per year) and ensure successful scale-up
• Navigate and influence cross-functional teams that are primarily pharma-oriented
• Build alignment with senior stakeholders and drive execution across functions
• Strengthen operational processes and ensure delivery against business goals
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to get work done across functions is
essential

 

Duration- 6 months

Capacity- Full time

Location- Mumbai (onsite)

Skills Required

• 20 to 25  relevant years of experience
• FMCG background (must have)
• Sales experience -a large part of the role is sales and distribution. Ideally the
candidate has come up through sales and grown into a business head role
• Product launch experience -three to four launches a year are expected, so the person
must have a strong track record of launching and scaling products
• Experience in Indian FMCG companies.
