Our client, is a global FMCG firm and is looking to engage with a Independent HR Assistant
with experience in end-to-end payroll operations, preferably with exposure to NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) and/or NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme). The role involves stipend processing, payroll administration, DBT coordination, query management, and close collaboration with HR and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1-Administer monthly stipend processing for apprentices.
2-Generate payroll/pay registers based on attendance inputs.
3-Upload and freeze pay registers on the NAPS portal.
4-Coordinate stipend fund transfers to the NAPS VAN account.
5-Release stipend payments through the apprenticeship portal.
6-Track and follow up on Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) status with relevant authorities.
7-Ensure compliance with NAPS guidelines and timelines.
8-Calculate establishment and DBT share accurately.
9-Process and file Records of Payment (ROP) on the NATS portal.
10-Coordinate stipend disbursement and UTR tracking.
11-Collaborate closely with HR and Finance teams for payroll inputs and reconciliations.
12Maintain payroll records, reports, and documentation.
1- 1-3 years of experience in Payroll Operations.
2- Experience in NAPS and/or NATS payroll administration (preferred)
3-Knowledge of Payroll Compliance and Statutory Processes
4-Experience working with payroll portals and payroll management systems.
