Our client, a leading global specialist in energy management and automation is looking to engage with a Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
• Under broad direction, lead the Inventory planning to optimize / achieve cash flow targets while customer requirements (External and Internal) are secured.
• Collaborate effectively across the Region SC Planning networks ( Plant SCMs, DC SC Planners) for process improvements on Supply planning & Inventory management.
• Provides inventory planning subject matter expertise on topics related to Stocking Policy / Safety stock / MOQ / Q-Max. Optimize MRP parameters to right level to meet inventory targets.
• RCA & CAPA for Unhealthy Inventory - Preventive actions for each category by modifying Production Plan, Distribution Plan, Material Plan and setting self-healing parameters (Safety stock, DC Lot Size, PO Block/ PO Creation, MOQ, Qmax, Stocking Policy) .Recommend optimal channel to reach targets (inventory/customer OTD target) set by management to cut down manual interventions
• Competency improvement for SC Planning team on SE tools and processes related to Inventory management.
• Drive mid term and short term actions related to inventory optimization with all entities to meet Region inventory ambition
KPIs
• Raw materials inventory days ( DIN) & Inventory value
• Unhealthy inventory ( UHS) %
Duration- 8 to 9 months may be extended as per business requirement

Work mode- Hybrid
• BE / B Tech / MBA from reputed institute.
• 5-8 years of experience in Supply & Inventory planning
• Working knowledge of SAP / Oracle / SE tools
