Our client, a leading Food & Beverages company, is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planner. The consultant will play a key role in driving planning excellence by leveraging data-driven insights to optimise demand, supply, production, and distribution planning processes while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Support end-to-end supply chain planning activities, including demand, supply, production, and distribution planning.
Analyse demand and supply trends to improve forecast accuracy and ensure product availability.
Monitor inventory levels and recommend actions to optimise stock while maintaining service levels.
Develop analytical dashboards and reports to support planning decisions and performance tracking.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Commercial, and Finance to ensure seamless planning and execution.
Identify planning risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities, and recommend data-driven solutions.
Prepare planning reports, business insights, and presentations for key stakeholders.
5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, preferably within the FMCG or Food & Beverage industry.
Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:
Demand Planning
Supply Planning
Production Planning
Distribution Planning
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and generate actionable insights.
Proficiency in Power BI and the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) for data analysis and reporting.
Working knowledge of SQL will be an added advantage.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
Education
MBA in Operations & Supply Chain Management from NITIE (IIM Mumbai) or another premier institute with an equivalent specialisation is preferred.
