Our client, a leading global specialist in energy management and automation is looking to engage with a Consultant.
Main responsible (at plant level) to define, manage and improve the upstream flows and the service level (ESSR & ISSR) from suppliers (external & internal).
-Organize and optimize the various procurement /logistics solution with suppliers, applying principles / rules.
-Pilot the containment, corrective and preventives actions to solve the upstream supply chain issues of the plant using the 8D methodology.
-Manages directly the supply critical issues with the suppliers, that are escalated by the stock controllers
-Check the effectiveness of the supplier actions
-Escalate to SSCMEs for critical supply chain performance issues with suppliers
-Monitor supplier Supply Chain Performance @ the Plant-Level and reports it (SSRM, New Reporting)
-Be for each supplier the single point of contact in the plant on service performance issues
-Train local suppliers on improvement tools and skills : material management, production schedule (MPS, waiting queue)
-Conduct 6 sigma projects with local suppliers, when opportune
-Conduct Supply Chain audits with local suppliers and follow action plans (can participate to audits with continental or global suppliers )
-Contribute to the supplier panel validation launched by the commodity mger (on the supply chain

Receives inputs from quality on supplier performance on parts quality and offer feedback to the suppliers. Work with the suppliers to reduce delivery lead time and maintain lead time as per set target. Support quality team and continually work with the suppliers to improve delivery performance. On-time delivery of plant suppliers: Animates the action plan follow-up with external suppliers to improve ESSR & participates on ISSR improvement with internal suppliers. -Education: Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering in industrial environment on production control, supply chain or logistics.
-PGDMM/ PGDSCM will be an added advantage
-Job Related Experience: 5 - 8 years for diploma holder /Minimum 5 years for engineering graduates with experience in procurement in engineering /electricity industry
-Business Understanding: Manufacturing process flow of electrical industry: relevant market knowledge; process flow of supply chain and trends
-Others: Basic computing knowledge is a must
-Ability to read, write and speak in English
-Ability to speak in Telugu and Hindi
