Our client, a leading global specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking a highly accomplished and strategic professional for Regional EE
Procurement. This role will be responsible for driving category procurement strategy,
managing supplier and partner factory relationships, and ensuring timely, cost-
effective sourcing of high-quality products. The incumbent will play a critical role in
optimizing supplier performance, driving year-on-year productivity, and contributing
to overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Procurement Management
Develop and execute procurement and category strategies aligned with business objectives, while identifying, evaluating, and onboarding a resilient and diversified supplier base to ensure competitiveness, innovation, cost efficiency, and uninterrupted supply continuity.
2. Supplier Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partner factories, ensuring consistent performance across quality, cost, delivery, and compliance metrics, while leading supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and long-term sourcing agreements to drive value and reliability.
3. Cost Optimization & Exception Management
Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supplier dynamics to identify cost-saving opportunities, drive year-on-year productivity improvements, and proactively manage supply disruptions, escalations, and risks to ensure business continuity.
4. Data-Driven Decision Making
Establish and enforce procurement policies, processes, and governance frameworks while leveraging data analytics to monitor procurement KPIs, forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and generate actionable insights that drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and Systems teams to drive cross-functional initiatives that improve supply chain efficiency, reduce lead times, and support new product development and localization through strategic sourcing expertise.
6. Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team by setting clear objectives, conducting regular performance reviews, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
