Our client, a leading global specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking an Independent Communication Specialist who will work across the full leadership team to deliver high-quality communication outputs on an ongoing basis. The leadership team has a broad and diverse set of communication needs – spanning video production, internal campaigns, regional newsletters, events, branding, employee engagement, and digital platforms – and requires a dedicated Communication Expert to bring these to life.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production & Scripting
Produce and script awareness, promotional, and inspirational videos across SO topics – including Safety, Services Finance, the C&SP delivery model, and Operational Director showcases.
Convert leadership storylines and key messages into polished scripts; support video publishing on Viva Engage, internal comms channels, and country newsletters.
Support production of Training Academy and Services University video content.
Campaigns, Events & Cost to Serve
Plan and execute internal communication campaigns covering recognition, employee events, and Ops Director events.
Drive communications around Cost to Serve initiatives (est. 30% FTE) and Install Base programmes (est. 3% FTE).
Support the Services Attractiveness programme communication plan, including global campaigns on careers, learning, health, and thought leadership.
Create portals and content to share relevant Services Ops material internally and with customers (customer stories, Safety by Example, Serve Customer Culture).
Branding, Positioning & Digital Presence
Develop branding presentations for Global Services C&SP – covering value proposition, scope, competencies, and how the function contributes to services growth in countries.
Build and maintain the Service Operations landing page within the Services digital ecosystem.
Support animation of Operations Directors communications and SO open lines.
Maintain a consistent visual identity and tone across all SO communications.
Newsletters, KitCom & Regional Comms
Produce regional newsletters and KitCom content to a professional standard.
Support animation and engagement content for Operations Directors and SO leadership open lines.
Experience: 3–6 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or content production.
Video & Scripting: Must have hands-on experience in scripting and producing internal video content.
Campaigns: Experience driving internal communication campaigns and employee engagement programmes is essential.
Writing & Editing: Strong English writing and editing skills across newsletters, leadership communication, scripts, and branding content.
Digital Platforms: Proficiency in Viva Engage, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
Design Tools: Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, and PowerPoint would be an added advantage.
Preferred Background: Prior experience working with large multinational organisations or field services environments would be preferred.
A versatile communicator comfortable switching between video scripts, newsletters, campaign copy, and leadership messaging.
Highly organised – able to manage multiple requests from multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
Proactive and creative – brings ideas to the table rather than waiting for a brief.
Comfortable working remotely and independently across a global team.
