Assignment Details

Our client, a leading global specialist in energy management and automation, is looking for an experienced Consultant Deputy General Manager, Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Insights
Conduct market research to assess industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
Generate actionable insights to support product and commercial strategies in collaboration with R&D, subject to review and approval by the authorized India team.
Monitor market developments and identify opportunities for portfolio growth.
Product Launch Management
Support the planning and execution of new product launches.
Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure operational readiness and alignment with business objectives.
Track launch milestones and support successful go-to-market execution.
Demand Forecasting
Collaborate with Sales and Commercial Operations teams to develop demand forecasts.
Support capacity planning and business continuity through accurate forecasting and market intelligence.
Analyze demand trends and recommend improvements to forecasting accuracy.
Pricing Strategy & Analysis
Conduct pricing analysis, competitive benchmarking, and market intelligence.
Support pricing recommendations aimed at optimizing profitability while maintaining competitive positioning.
Final pricing decisions will remain with the authorized India team.
Product Positioning
Develop compelling value propositions and product positioning strategies for the System Drive Solutions portfolio.
Support differentiation of products based on customer needs, market trends, and competitive analysis.
Ensure consistency in messaging across commercial and marketing channels.
Marketing Communications & Promotion
Partner with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns, product collateral, and customer-facing communication materials.
Support initiatives to enhance product visibility, customer engagement, and brand positioning.
Assist in developing marketing assets aligned with business priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Commercial, Global Teams, R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Country Leadership to ensure effective execution of business strategies.
Foster collaboration across functions to drive alignment and operational excellence.
Please note that this role does not include authority to negotiate or conclude customer contracts.
Sales Enablement
Develop and maintain product marketing content and sales enablement materials.
Deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions for commercial teams.
Support business development efforts by providing product and market expertise to drive opportunity conversion and order growth across the System Drive Solutions portfolio.
Order acceptance and binding commercial commitments will remain with the authorized India team.

Skills Required

10–15+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Product Management, Commercial Excellence, or related functions.
Experience in Industrial Automation, Electrical Products, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related industries is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in market research, product launches, pricing strategy, demand forecasting, and sales enablement.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with experience working in cross-functional and global environments.
