Our client, A leading global specialist in energy management and automation, Engineer – WMS/MES with experience in manufacturing and warehouse environments to support the implementation, deployment, and optimization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The ideal candidate should possess strong technical, functional, and documentation capabilities with exposure to digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing or warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Support end-to-end implementation and deployment of WMS/MES solutions
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications
• Prepare project documentation including SOPs, BRDs, Functional Specifications, and Fit-Gap documents
• Support master data creation, validation, maintenance, and data uploads within WMS/MES systems
• Assist in UI design/support and improve user workflows and usability
• Participate in system testing, UAT support, go-live activities, and post-implementation support
• Troubleshoot system and process-related issues across warehouse and manufacturing operations
• Collaborate with Operations, IT, Production, and cross-functional stakeholders for successful project execution
• Support reporting and dashboarding activities using MS Excel and Power BI
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing and/or warehouse environments
• Hands-on experience in WMS and/or MES implementation and support
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and warehouse workflows
• Experience in documentation preparation including SOPs, BRDs, FS, and Fit-Gap analysis
• Knowledge of master data management and data validation processes
• Exposure to system deployment, UAT, and post go-live support
• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, or related engineering discipline
