Our Client, a major Indian business conglomerate is looking for Manufacturing Expert (FMCG Food) for Manufacturing Excellence Drive to assess and improve manufacturing performance across 10+ contract manufacturers in India producing potato chips and extruded snacks, with a focus on yield improvement, reduction of material/process losses, operational efficiency and standardisation of manufacturing practices.
Key responsibilities:-
- Manufacturing performance diagnostic across CM sites, including yield, wastage, conversion losses, process efficiency and key operational KPIs.
- Loss / yield improvement assessment identifying major loss points across raw material preparation, processing, frying/extrusion, seasoning, packing and related processes.
- Site-level improvement plans with quantified opportunities, priorities, timelines and implementation owners.
- Best-practice benchmarking and standardisation across contract manufacturers, including common operating parameters, SOPs, KPIs and performance-management mechanisms.
- Implementation & benefits tracking through factory visits, trials, root-cause analysis and ongoing monitoring of realised yield and cost improvements.

- Manufacturing / Process Engineering experience in FMCG food manufacturing, preferably potato chips or extruded snacks
- Strong hands-on experience in yield improvement, wastage reduction and process optimisation

- Lean / Six Sigma, OEE, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Strong factory execution, data analysis and cross-functional/vendor stakeholder management
