Assignment Details

Our client is a leading FMCG company and is looking to engage with a Data Visualization Consultant.

Key Responsibilities-

1. Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, data requirements, and visualization goals.
2. Lead end-to-end data visualization projects, from data exploration and analysis to design and implementation.
3. Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using industry-leading tools such as Tableau, Power BI.
4. Utilize advanced statistical and analytical techniques to uncover insights within datasets.
5. Translate complex data concepts into clear and engaging visual narratives for diverse audiences.
6. Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for data visualization design, including color theory, typography, and layout principles.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
8. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data visualization and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our offerings.

Skills Required

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Design, Statistics, or a related field.
2. Experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or related roles.
3. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex data visualization projects from concept to completion.
4. Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar platforms.
5. Strong proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
6. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.
7. Experience working with diverse datasets, including structured and unstructured data, across multiple domains.
8. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and relational database systems.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
10. Certification in data visualization or related fields (e.g., Tableau Desktop Certified Professional) is a plus.
