Assignment Details
Our client, a Provider of Market Intelligence Technology Tools based on Data Science and Analytics, is looking to engage with a Consultant - Software Engineer (ETL) to join its Data Science Team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Participate in design and implementation of high-performing, scalable and optimized data solutions
2. Design, build and automate the deployment of our data pipelines and applications to support data scientists and researchers with their reporting and data requirements
3. Scale mature ingestion platforms using advanced Python, Java, and strong command of AWS cloud services (e.g., EMR, ECS, Lamba, Step Functions)
4. Work with team on managing AWS resources (ECS/EKS clusters, etc.) and continuously improve deployment process of our applications
5. Work with administrative resources and support provisioning, monitoring, configuration, and maintenance of AWS tools, S3, & MYSQL
6. Keep up to-date with emerging trends and technologies like Big Data, cloud, java, and AI
This project is for a Duration of 6 Months (extendable basis client requirement and performance) and requires the consultant to devote their Full Time capacity in a Remote Model.
Skills Required
- 3+ years’ experience in software development, including extensive experience in Big Data and Cloud Services
- Expertise with Java, Python & SQL
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda, Step Functions, EMR
- Experience building RESTful APIs
A plus if you have experience with:
a. ETL / data transformations
b. Machine learning models integration and deployment.
c. Continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
d. Open-source big data technologies like Apache Storm, Spark and Flink.
