Our client, a Global Mining Group, is seeking an Independent Senior Advisor in Risk, Controls, and Compliance to bolster the first line of defense Assurance process for Group Services. This role offers significant developmental prospects for individuals aspiring to become compliance subject matter experts. Reporting directly to the Compliance Manager, you will:
- Support the preparation and updating of process maps and walkthrough documentation for end-to-end processes within relevant areas.
- Assist in risk identification and assessment for ad-hoc advisory requirements.
- Provide readiness and capability to support various compliance control actions, including specific process delivery areas.
- Monitor open corrective actions, ensuring completion, and track follow-ups for overdue actions.
- Conduct control testing, maintain testing documentation, and regularly update databases for the Risk and Compliance dashboard tool.
- Support compliance-related dashboard and reporting requirements.
Note: This is a project-based role that requires Full-time On-site support in Gurgaon for a duration of 10-12 month(s).
Skills Required
1. A finance and/or business qualification, CA/MBA equivalent preferred.
2. A minimum of 5-9 years of experience in control testing, internal audit, SOP creation, risk assessment, process compliance, SOX, and control operating effectiveness.
3. A collaborative approach with a process mindset and the ability to quickly grasp process knowledge.
4. Ability to work across organisational lines as part of a team.
5. Desirable global exposure.
6. Strong learning agility and a proactive work approach.
