Assignment Details
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is looking to engage with a Business Finance Consultant. The consultant will prepare detailed monthly dashboards comparing actuals to budgets/forecasts, analyzing sales, margins, expenses, and headcount. Additionally, it includes identifying risks and opportunities, preparing P&L for new products, running simulations for business proposals, and collaborating with teams on budgeting and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparing accurate & insightful monthly dashboards with Sales, Gross Margin, Price Volume Analysis, Gross to Net, A&P, Opex, Headcount and IBT (Income before Tax) for actuals and comparison to Budgets/Latest Forecast
2. Highlighting Risks and Ops for the business covering the expected head and tailwinds
3. P&L preparation for new products/Line extensions, Goss Margin Improvement initiatives.
4. Run simulations on various “what-if” scenarios using insight and critical thinking to evaluate business proposals for commercial discounts, A&P expenditure to drive efficiencies and understand ROI
5. Partnering with business teams and preparing their annual budgets & forecasts

Capacity: Full time for 3 months
Skills Required
1. 4-5 years of experience in Business Finance role
2. Data Analysis and Visualization: Ability to analyze large amounts of data, identify trends, and present insights in a clear and concise manner using visualizations like charts, graphs, and tables
2. Excel Proficiency: Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis, pivot tables, pivot charts, slicers, VLOOKUP formulas, and other tools to create dashboards.
3. Experience in preparing P/Ls and budgeting forecasts.
4. Financial Analysis: Knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial metrics to evaluate business proposals and make informed decisions
