Our client, a leading global specialist in energy management and automation, is seeking an experienced Independent Consultant / Advisor with deep expertise in the Interior Designers & Architects (ID&A) ecosystem in India. The consultant will provide strategic advisory on market dynamics, engagement approaches, and go-to-market recommendations to help strengthen the client’s presence within the design community. This is a remote, deliverable-based consulting engagement for a duration of 3–4 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
Advise on the Indian Interior Designers & Architects (ID&A) ecosystem, including key stakeholders, market trends, and industry dynamics.
Recommend effective engagement strategies to reach and influence interior designers, architects, and related design ecosystem stakeholders.
Provide insights into how designers discover, evaluate, and specify brands.
Advise on value propositions that resonate with the Indian design community.
Recommend high-impact touchpoints, industry events, partnerships, and content strategies to improve brand visibility and engagement.
Provide guidance on project-based buying behavior and how product specifications translate into business opportunities, particularly within the electrical products and solutions space.
Share actionable market insights and best practices based on prior consulting or industry experience.
Proven experience working with Interior Designers, Architects, and the broader design ecosystem in India.
Strong understanding of the Indian design community and specification-driven sales environment.
Experience working with or advising organizations such as Asian Paints, Häfele, Legrand, Gira, Jung, Norisys, Livspace, HomeLane, lighting and décor brands, or similar organizations serving the design ecosystem.
Well-connected within the local design community and familiar with key influencers and industry forums.
