Assignment Details

Our client, a boutique Strategy and Business Transformation Advisory services firm, is looking to engage with an Independent Consultant who will work with the Partner in designing the Sales and Operations Management process and various associated templates.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Design process across product categories and BUs, producing a rolling 12-18 month estimate of unconstrained future demand in units.
- Work with Partner to develop rough cut capacity and scenario planning to be able to validate and present data and analytics facilitate decision making.
- Aid in designing the the Supply Chain organisation and inventory management processes.
- Develop, monitor and revise production and sourcing plans, in the short and long term, to optimise the use of manpower, equipment and financial resources while meeting the needs of customers.
- Prepare templates to collect data and material for monthly S&OP meetings that will facilitate decisions around equipment, labor and all other resources needed to support demand over the S&OP planning horizon.
- Develop support metrics, tools and reporting that will enable Manufacturing plants and Procurement teams to achieve these service level and inventory targets.
- Conduct ABC / XYZ analysis and ascertain fast moving and slow-moving SKUs.
- Develop inventory reports to identify slow moving and obsolete inventories and collaborate with the sales team to develop disposition plans.
- Develop performance metrics and analysis to identify both opportunities and potential issues within S&OP processes and reporting as well as those across departments; provide insights and recommendations to help improve results.
- Help design Accounts Receivables process and devise strategies to collect cash in a fast and effective way.

Note: This is a 6 -8 weeks project role that requires Full-time (Remote) support.

Skills Required

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics with 4 - 6 years of related work experience across AR/ Inventory Management processes, Networking Capital - ABC / XYZ Analysis and S&OP planning.
2. Management Consulting experience (either MBB or Big4) is an asset.
3. A demonstrated interest and curiosity in Data Analysis, Process Mapping, Sales and Operations Management processes would be preferable.
4. Any international location experience is a plus.
