Assignment Details

 

  • To maintain excellent liaisons with all stakeholders ensuring effective delivery of services.To maintain effective communication with the IT and other teams through daily interactions and scheduled meetings.
  • To maintain strict confidentiality regarding trials and information provided by clients.
  • Responsible for all aspects of Project Management; accountability for project definition, scoping, planning and delivery across multi-disciplinary teams. Producing the project plan and ensuring all resources are identified.
  • Building key relationships and managing stakeholders, interface with department heads, operational project managers and both internal and contract IT professionals. Comfortably work with colleagues across the organization in Europe, Australia, India, China and elsewhere.
    Monitoring and capture of change management through-out the project lifecycle to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs and keep project plans accurate, updated, and reflecting agreed changes.
  • Financial management, of all related project expenditure, hardware, software, capital and opex.
  • Quality management, ensuring the project deliverables are of a high quality.
  • Risk management; through risk identification, risk analysis and planning to mitigate the risks.
  • Development of functional system requirement and specifications: Quantifies and articulates desired outcomes and measurements. Where required, work with Business Analyst on detailed process translation.
  • Complete and manage the technical change management documentation for projects in line with the technical change control process, for the development and production environment. Also, to manage the validation process for system/application testing in UAT and go live. 
  • Identifies appropriate resources needed and develops a schedule to ensure timely completion of projects focusing on targeted outcomes.
  • Execute tasks as defined in the project plan to achieve the project goals.
  • Maintain controls that accurately reflect completed work against project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure user/management involvement at appropriate milestones.
  • Provide and maintain detailed project documentation including but not limited to project definition, roadmaps and project, change management, risk management, and validation plans.
  • Schedule, organize, prepare material for, and document all project meetings/reviews.
  • Ensure all resources required by the project and their managers are informed well in advance of required times and dates, including role required and tasks to be completed.
  • Provide monthly Project Status Reports, Project Projections, Risk and Issue Logs, updated.
  • Project Plans, and other control deliverables to the Senior Management Team.
  • Meet regularly with your line manager to provide updates on project status, financials, deliverables, schedule, risks and issues, and to escalate any outstanding project issues.

 

Skills Required

  • Qualification to degree level, within technology related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 5+  year’s experience successfully managing projects of various sizes.
  • PMP, PRINCE 2, PMI-ACP or another relevant project management certification desirable.
  • Systems integration experience highly desirable.  Particularly in an M&A capacity.
  • Experience of being responsible for critical processes and tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks through good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team and deliver to multiple, tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Fluent in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with stakeholders, gathering information, providing project updates and assist in training new users.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to systematically analyse complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and implement appropriate solutions, both in the short and long term.
