Our client, a leading impact investment firm, is looking for a seasoned consultant with portfolio/grant management experience to support them for a few months. The role will include working closely with other investment and/or grant-making professionals to:
1. Review and analyse grant and investment proposals following the approach and framework defined by the fund.
2. Undertaking industry, competitor analytics and assessing specific companies/organisations as part of the investment decision process;
3. Providing support on financial modelling and analytics as needed, including developing financial projections and pressure testing key assumptions
4. Work directly with specific portfolio companies and grantees - helping them think through strategies, reviewing performance
5. Developing updates on specific portfolio companies and grantees to share with senior management.
This project requires Full-Time capacity for the duration of 6 months.
1. 4-6 years of grant and portfolio management experience at an international foundation or multilateral/bilateral agency is expected
2. Advanced business analysis and financial modelling skills
3. Excellent analytical skills and a strong sense of structure and logic
4. Strong communication skills and ability to quickly synthesise and develop high-quality end products
