The consultant will be expected to contribute to the following outputs. Note: deliverables may be revised in good
faith based on evolving portfolio and ecosystem needs.
• Ecosystem map and engagement notes — a maintained view of key actors across the AI ecosystem, with
periodic notes capturing engagements, opportunities, and emerging developments.
• Operationalized a monitoring system for AI investments —standardized reporting templates, indicator
definitions/data dictionary, and a documented, repeatable reporting cadence adopted across portfolio
partners – co-created and maintained with the Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation teams of the Foundation
and partners
• Regularly updated impact dashboard — maintained on the agreed cycle with a clear audit trail and
projected-vs-actual distinctions.
• Field-visit and verification reports — structured write-ups from each round of in-person visits, documenting
validation findings, implementation quality, and risks.
• Periodic progress syntheses — concise summaries and visualizations prepared for portfolio reviews and
leadership/governance moments.
• Knowledge products — outward-facing briefs, whitepapers, or analytical notes co-authored with the DHAI
team and/or partners.
Demonstrated experience in ecosystem engagement, partnerships, program management, or monitoring and
evaluation — ideally at the intersection of development, health, and technology.
• Strong stakeholder-engagement and relationship-management skills, with the ability to work credibly across
partners, researchers, government, and platform actors.
• Solid data-management and analytical skills, with the ability to design monitoring systems, quality-assure
partner data, and translate it into clear insight, visualization, and written reporting.
• Comfort with field work — planning and conducting site visits, engaging respectfully with partners and
frontline stakeholders, and verifying data on the ground.
• Familiarity with India's AI / digital ecosystem and the measurement of AI interventions is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to undertake domestic travel to portfolio states on a periodic basis.
