Assignment Details

Our client is a leading consulting firm and is looking for a Procurement consultant specialized in CDMO.

Key Deliverables:
- Analysis of client’s spending data for classification into spend categories and total spend
- Data assessment to identify vendor volume consolidation, better pricing opportunities
- Scouting secondary research sources and EXIM database to identify alternate suppliers
- Support in the development of RFQ document for the category (Chemicals, solvents, spares, production consumables, etc.)
- Analysis of vendor RFQ responses to identify negotiation potential and total opportunity
- Support in the development of negotiation presentations for the vendors
- Scenario analysis to identify total benefits for different scenarios of volume allocations

Skills Required

- Knowledge of chemicals, solvents, intermediates for API and CDMO businesses
- Basic understanding of strategic sourcing levers
- Problem-solving and analytics capability
- Proficiency in MS Excel with ability to analyze large data sets and develop macros
- Medium proficiency in MS PowerPoint
