Assignment Details

Our client, a leading National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency, is looking to engage with a Procurement & Contracts Professional with strong experience in Government/PSU procurement, GFR, and GeM processes.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement and tendering activities in line with organizational and government procurement guidelines. 
  • Develop procurement strategies, vendor management processes, sourcing plans, and contract management practices. 
  • Handle tender creation, bid evaluation, supplier negotiations, contract review, and procurement documentation. 
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, legal, and finance teams for procurement approvals and contract closure. 
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit requirements, statutory regulations, and service-level agreements. 
  • Monitor supplier performance, contract timelines, renewals, and procurement reporting. 
  • Drive procurement best practices, cost optimization, and centralized procurement initiatives.

  • Duration: 6 Months (extendable up to 9 months) 
  • Location: Delhi 
  • Work Mode: Onsite – 5 Days a Week
     

Skills Required

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Procurement & Contract Management. 
  • Mandatory experience in Government/PSU procurement handling. 
  • Strong knowledge of GFR (General Financial Rules) and GeM (Government e-Marketplace). 
  • Experience in tender management, vendor negotiations, contract review, and procurement compliance. 
  • Expertise in procurement strategy, sourcing, supplier management, and audit coordination. 
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access). 
  • Postgraduate qualification preferred.
