About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to lead and grow optometry services targeted at children in Vietnam. The role focuses on expanding myopia prevention and control treatments, alongside services for conditions like strabismus and amblyopia. You will play a critical role in building strategic partnerships, enhancing brand awareness, and advancing the optometry agenda nationally.
 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute business development activities to grow optometry services across hospitals.


2. Raise brand awareness and position the organisation as a leader in children’s eye care.


3. Establish partnerships with schools to conduct eye talks and screenings for students and teachers.


4. Collaborate with large companies to provide eye health programs for employees and their families.


5. Engage with education departments to organise initiatives such as ‘Career Experience Day’ or ‘Little Eye Doctor Day’ to strengthen community outreach.


6. Lobby and build relationships with government entities and professional organisations to promote children’s eye health services in Vietnam.


Location: Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi) – Full Time, On-Site

Duration: Full-time capacity, 2 years

 

Skills Required

Key Requirements:
- Experience: 10-15 years in business development, trade marketing, or sales functions, preferably in healthcare or insurance sectors.

-Strong presentation and communication skills.

-Effective project management abilities to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.

-Excellent interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders.

-Ability to articulate complex healthcare solutions clearly.

-Results-oriented mindset with strategic thinking.
 

Bonus: Existing networks in:

- Student/parent-related organisations (schools, tuition centres, sports schools, PTAs).

-Large corporate HR, welfare, or labour union contacts.
