Our client, India's leading manufacturer of spunlace nonwoven fabrics, is looking for a Consultant – R&D Formulation Expert (Wet Wipes & Sheet Masks) to help develop lotion formulations for baby-care wipes, cosmetic wipes, and facial sheet masks, including makeup/removal, refreshing, anti-ageing, anti-acne, and fruit-/flower-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and refine lotion and serum formulations for the agreed wet-wipe and sheet-mask applications.
• Recommend ingredients and their proportions to meet product briefs and customer expectations.
• Support prototype preparation and evaluation for stability, performance, preservation and compatibility with wipe and mask materials.
• Document formulations, trial results and recommendations for further development.
• Work with internal teams to resolve formulation issues and progress products towards manufacturing.

Duration: 6 months
Location: India
Nature of Work: Hybrid (remote + should be open to travel to Anjar, Gujarat)
Capacity: 3 days/week
Key Skills:
• 12–15 years of experience in R&D and formulation development within cosmetics, personal care, skincare or baby care.
• Experience developing products for US and European customers.
• Hands-on experience formulating lotions, serums, cleansers or makeup removers; wet-wipe and/or sheet-mask formulation experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of cosmetic ingredients, preservation, formulation stability and compatibility with wipe and mask materials.
• Ability to troubleshoot formulations and translate product briefs into practical development recommendations.
• Clear technical documentation and communication skills, with the ability to work with R&D and manufacturing teams.
• MPharm, BTech in Cosmetics, or a relevant qualification in cosmetic science or formulation development.
