Our client, a leading management consulting firm, is working on a Sale acceleration project. They are looking to engage with a Sales Professional from the FMCG/Consumer goods domain who has experience in Channel Partner and Distribution Management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth in the FMCG industry.
2. Identify and prospect new customers by leveraging various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and referrals.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all sales-related inquiries.
4. Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to understand customer requirements, challenges, and opportunities.
5. Present and demonstrate products to clients, highlighting features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
6. Recommend suitable product solutions based on customer needs, ensuring customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships.
7. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers to secure profitable deals while maintaining strong business relationships.
8. Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and product development, to provide customer feedback, market insights, and suggestions for product improvements.
9. Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for business growth and differentiation.
10. Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required by management

1. Proven experience in sales roles within the FMCG industry, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and effectively convey product information and value propositions.
3. Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to influence customer decisions and close sales deals.
4. Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and fulfilling customer needs.
5. Analytical and problem-solving skills to understand customer challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
6. Proficiency in using sales tools and CRM systems to manage customer interactions and track sales activities.
7. Knowledge of FMCG products, market trends, and consumer behavior.
8. Strong Channel Partner and Distribution Management experience
