Assignment Details

  • Monitor and assess the external regulatory environment to identify emerging regulatory developments, risks, and opportunities impacting the business.
  • Develop and execute regulatory affairs and technical advocacy strategies aligned with business and corporate objectives.
  • Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to address regulatory challenges, mitigate risks, and support business continuity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, regulatory authorities, industry associations, and other external stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization in industry forums and regulatory discussions, ensuring alignment on cross-business regulatory positions.
  • Provide strategic regulatory guidance to support product development, market access, and commercial initiatives.
  • Interpret evolving regulations and translate them into actionable business recommendations.
  • Lead issue resolution and regulatory risk mitigation initiatives while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with regional and global regulatory teams to ensure consistency in regulatory strategies and advocacy efforts.
  • Mentor and develop regulatory affairs talent, fostering capability building and knowledge sharing within the team.

Skills Required

  • 10–15+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs within FMCG, Food, Nutrition, Consumer Goods, or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in regulatory intelligence, policy analysis, and technical advocacy.
  • Experience engaging with government agencies, regulatory authorities, and industry associations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong strategic planning, risk assessment, and business partnering capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading regulatory initiatives across multiple business units or product categories.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced business environment.
