Assignment Details

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • The site must handle visits & enquiries from various government officers, TNPCB, (some MLAs also land up at our site every year) and also lot of follow ups are required with Municipality, Forest Officer, Health Dept & DISH—it’s a full-time responsibility. Srinu (Current HUL resource) faces Tamil language handicap as 90% of these local officers are comfortable only with Tamil conversation.

    Given the current situation, it is unlikely that we will get a replacement from within Supply Chain for 6 -8 months for Kodai work and hence we need resources to ensure continuity of operations in compliance with Statutory and Unilever standards along with external coordination. Candidate must have minimum experience of 5 yrs and should be good in communication skill.

Skills Required

Qualification: 

 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in statutory compliance, government liaison, EHS, factory administration, or regulatory affairs.
  • Strong experience coordinating with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
  • Fluent in Tamil and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, FMCG, industrial, or plant environment.
  • Ability to independently manage inspections, regulatory visits, and compliance-related activities while coordinating with internal stakeholders.
