Assignment Details

Our client, a global FMCG player, is looking to engage with experienced professionals with expertise in MIS reporting, competitor intelligence, financial analysis, and market share tracking to support business insights and competitive benchmarking initiatives.

 

Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Analyze competitor financial filings and financial statements to assess operating and financial performance across the peer set and prepare structured performance reports.
  • Monitor and evaluate key market metrics and competitor movements, identifying trends in market share, financial performance, and industry positioning.
  • Develop standardized competitor performance packs highlighting financial performance, market share shifts, key trends, and strategic insights.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements related to competitor analysis and translate them into structured financial and market intelligence insights.
  • Maintain and update dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools to ensure timely access to relevant competitor data for internal teams.
  • Track regulatory filings, earnings calls, corporate announcements, and industry developments to assess their impact on competitors and the broader market landscape.

Skills Required

  • Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial statements, regulatory filings, and competitor financial performance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in data analysis, reporting, and presentation of insights.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and data visualization tools to build dashboards and present market and financial trends.
  • Strong business and market acumen to analyze competitor strategies, market share movements, and industry trends.
  • Ability to synthesize large datasets and translate them into structured insights and reports for business stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to collaborate with business teams and external data providers.
