Our client is a medical devices manufacturing company and they are looking for a consultant to manage the operations and work with CHA - clearing houses. The candidate will be working with the supply chain, operations - Trade compliance in a medical device industry.
Job description:
- Responsible for on time and compliant clearance of all import shipments landing at Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi or Bangalore port
- Manage the performance of the CHA partner
- Create Reports and metrics dashboard
- Identify improvement opportunities for faster clearance, process simplification (automation and cost reduction
- Will require regular visit to customs port and office.
The project is 6 months long and require full time capcity. Consultants with 3-6 years of experience with relevant skills can apply.
- 1 year experience in Import and Export operations is preferred
- Experience in operations/projects (financial processes, supply chain)
- Sound knowledge of MS office – mainly advanced excel, (macros, Visual basic- desired)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
