Our client is an Indian group which is a leader in luggage and travel accessories. They’re looking to looking to engage with a seasoned Strategy Consultant to help them formulate a strategy to build a strong international business.
The consultant is expected to work with the CEO and senior management to -
- Help priorities the markets of interested based on growth trends, competition, customer preferences and other parameters
- Refine the product strategy including looking at geography, products to focus on, new 'must have' products
- Thinking through the right mix of own brand vs contract manufacturing for other brands
- Help outline a go to market plan, including pricing strategies, building out channel presence, online and offline
- Developing an overall business plan for the international business for the next few years including revenue and profitability projections
- Outlining a broad implementation plan and key milestones
- Experience of driving strategy projects at a top tier consulting firm
- Prior experience of helping companies in building and implementing strategies for international markets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
