Assignment Details

Our client, a leading multinational pharmaceutical company is looking for an experienced web scraper developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web scraping techniques and technologies, along with the
ability to work with large sets of data. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining web scraping scripts and tools, as well as analyzing and processing scraped data to extract meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build, test and maintain web scraping scripts and tools using programming languages such as
Python, JavaScript, and/or Ruby.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data sources, requirements, and deliverables.
- Monitor web scraping processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Analyse and process scraped data to extract meaningful insights.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and databases for storing scraped data.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web scraping technologies and techniques.

Skills Required

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in web scraping and data extraction.
- Proficient in at least one programming language used for web scraping (Python, JavaScript,
Ruby, etc.).
- Experience working with web scraping frameworks such as Scrapy or Beautiful Soup.
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
