- Lead strategic thinking and planning efforts. Design, implement and manage
a comprehensive strategic development plan around the focus areas for BNF.
- Focus strategic development plan on key problem areas like hunger,
malnutrition & anemia especially for the children, adolescents & women.
- Responsible for creating and implementing standard policies for BNF by
incorporating the vision of BNF into programmes and their execution.
- Development of programme guidelines for BNF programmes around
Britannia’s manufacturing locations and provide guidance as required.
- Regular update to BNF Board of Trustees and implementation of action plan
as per the Board’s approvals.
- Build strong networking/ partnership with government institute/ academia/
NGO operating in Food / Nutrition space in order to enhance visibility and
effectiveness of the programmes.
- Create and recommend annual budget, assess the Foundation’s financial
performance relative to the annual budget, management of funds, CSR
donors and records maintenance, including due diligence and oversight.
- Ensuring adherence to all statutory compliance.
- Fundraising- Identify and approach potential fundraising opportunities for
BNF projects from individuals, corporates or the Government.
- Monitor and update on public policy and trends that could affect or support
the policy and action plan for BNF.
- Public Relations- Identify opportunities to showcase the work of the
Foundation at appropriate platforms.
- Post-Graduate Degree in any/nutrition discipline
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Social/Development/CSR
Sector in India
- Experience in providing strategic leadership to a team
- Exposure to working with a "target" community
- Experience of working in the Malnutrition space/ broader area of nutrition
- Experience in stakeholder management (internal)
- Experience in external stakeholder management i.e, with government officials
- Knowledge about CSR rules & compliance
- A candidate with good communication and visibility
- Strong organizational skills and ability to lead a team
- Excellent in making and delivering the presentation
