Assignment Details

Our client, a leading global management consulting firm, is looking for a strategy consultant with expertise in digital procurement.

Some of the key responsibilities include:
• Introduce and implement use of cutting-edge technology for digital procurement system
• Liaise with the client and various teams working on the project
• Participating in Project Management activities (PMO, status calls, operational committee)
• Supporting team through problem definition, issue identification and work plan development using problem solving principles and past experience
• Supporting process design activities, formulating the specific solutions to address prioritized requirements (Workshops, Agile prototyping…)
• Executing Supplier Enablement methodology (Supply Base segmentation, Communications, Connectivity…)
• Supporting the collection and analysis of large amounts of data, developing key insights / findings, and proposing solutions in the entire procurement process
• Coordinating Master Data activities with the client and the technical teams

The consultant would be required to travel on-site for 5 days a week. Weekly fly-back will be provided to the consultant home location by the client. Also, the project duration may be subject to extension beyond 6 months.

Skills Required

• Prior experience with a top-tier management consulting firm is required
• Prior experience of working in Digital Procurement projects will be a plus
• Good analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills along with high integrity
• Comfortable functioning in a broadly positioned and highly diverse consulting firm
• Excellent team work and ability to work in distributed delivery environment
• Skilled in using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
