Assignment Details

Our client, a top-tier management consultancy, is looking to on-board Supply Chain/Logistics/Fulfilment Consultants in the space of e-Commerce on a contractual basis. The objective is to help a 3PL player to expand its footprint in e-Commerce industry.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Identify new opportunities for the client to consider to drive performance and increase efficiency across Supply Chain/Logistics/Fulfilment in the e-commerce sphere.
2. Help the 3PL player to expand its market share in e-Commerce industry.
3. Provide inputs for the improvement and efficiency enhancement of the logistics process
4. Help reduce transit times, lower logistics costs and increase returns.
5. Evaluate network design and advise on the same
6. Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting

Skills Required

1. Experienced in the E-commerce space.
2. Demonstrable experience of delivering high impact with respect to efficiency across Supply Chain/Logistics/Fulfilment.
3. Ability to innovate and develop strategy as well as lead practical day-to-day execution
4. Strong experience with different warehouse management systems & capabilities, as well as logistics footprint & network optimization
5. Extensive experience of managing transportation operations including fleet management
6. Exceptional vendor management skills
