Our client, a leading manufacturer of confectionary and pet food, is looking to engage with a Demand Planning Analytics consultant.
Key Responsibilities-
• Oversee the Consensus forecast for portfolio/region, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Provide in-depth insights into the consensus forecast throughout its entire horizon, facilitating proactive decision-making.
• Analyze and maintain forecast drivers, comprehensively understanding base sale trends and exploring various scenarios.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to assess trends, risks, and opportunities, fostering a holistic approach to forecasting.
• Integrate approved upside and downside scenarios into the forecast hierarchy, enhancing preparedness for market fluctuations.
• Monitor forecast consumption versus actuals, collaborating with the Management Control manager to respond effectively to forecast evolution.
• Develop and implement the red to green roadmap for full horizon forecast accuracy, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
Skills Required
• Masters in business, supply chain management preferred. Bachelors in science and/or engineering.
• BSc or BA in supply chain management or any other business or engineering related degree.
• >2-3 years of demand management experience for a global or multi-plant CPG/FMCG company
• >2-3 years of experience in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Knowledge / Experience
• EZE understanding of Supply Chain with experience in Demand Planning. Supply Planning S&OP, Inventory Management
• Ability to present complex analysis in understandable forms to business stakeholders including the ability to articulate the needs of the business and the customers to supply chain stakeholders
• Ability to work in a matrix structure
• Ability to listen to others and link to others' ideas
• Attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy
• 3 years logistics, planning or procurement experience for a CPG oc retail company.
