Assignment Details

Our client, a leading consulting company, is looking to engage with independent consultants who can lead a sales improvement implementation in the Pharma sector and deliver the following responsibilities :

- lead a sales improvement implementation program for 1-2 regions for the client (this is 6-8 states spanning 7-8 client sales leaders).
- Coordinating the sales team and assisting with recruiting and training new hires.
- Analyzing sales team performance and scheduling training/refresher sessions accordingly.
- Conducting market research and sharing findings with the team.
- Working alongside the team to draw up strategies to increase customer base.
- Setting sales targets and implementing incentives.
- Providing accurate sales forecasts and allocating resources so targets are met.
- Managing a network of vendors and suppliers.
- Maintaining excellent relationships with customers that are built on trust, and encouraging the rest of the sales team to follow this example.
- Keeping up-to-date with advancements in marketing.

Skills Required

- Preferred industry background : Pharma
- Prior experience in Pharma Sales implementation preferred
- Years of experience : 5+ (in sales roles, B2B preferable but not a filter);
- Should have handled 5+ member sales team and reported to senior leadership
