Assignment Details

Our client, a Japanese VC firm, is looking to engage with a consultant who can help them with the market research for the due-diligence for one of their investee companies. The research subject would be digital therapeutic apps for mental health in UK & USA.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Drive analysis and assessment of the industry and specific markets, across multiple dimensions
2. Figuring out the competitive advantage of the app with similar apps in UK and US market
3. Identifying major competing apps
4. Benchmarking in terms of efficacy, scope of functions, user experience, cost and so on
5. Figuring out key challenges and regulatory requirements
6. Market size, split by category, growth projections, key players, business models, channels
7. Market definition & key customer segments

NOTE: The assignment duration would be somewhere around 2 weeks.

Skills Required

1) Strategy/management consulting experience is preferable
2) Comfort with doing hands-on research & data analysis
3) Ability to summarize complex information in a clear and concise manner
4) Strong verbal and written communication skills
