Assignment Details

- Perform diagnostics within the Procurement & Supply Chain Function and evaluate the business processes for a major mining house in South Africa
- Benchmark results basis the evaluation done, presenting results to client management and implementing recommendations in collaboration with client team members
- Coordinate with project stakeholders (Practice Lead, Project Directors, Sr. Consultants and Support Leads) to create & define a roadmap / implementation plan
- Leverage expertise in building tools for procurement analysis used if not available (diagnostic tools, spend analytics etc)
- Capitalize on industry trends, best practices, and leading-edge technology and process improvement ideas
- Facilitate project-related testing, roll-out, and provide timely updates and elevate critical risks to project, management and senior-executive teams

Skills Required

- Worked with top-tier consulting firms preferably Bain, BCG, McKinsey, Deloitte and PWC Consulting with project experience in Supply Chain Management and Procurement domains
- Skilled in business process analysis, design, diagnostics, mapping, modeling and documentation
- Expertise in building tools for procurement analysis (diagnostic tools, spend analytics etc.)
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, research and critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and communication skills and ability to summarize and articulate complex information clearly
