Assignment Details

Our client is a consulting firm are looking to speak with an expert who can help in providing information on future capacity expansions in steel and iron ore industry, winning EPC work, and iron ore supply specific to pellet plant.

Responsibilities-
Steel industry
1. Future capacity expansions: Capacity expansion plans at AMNS, JSW, JSPL, Tata Steel and SAIL.
2. Winning EPC work: Should have good understanding of what it takes to win EPC work in above expansions.
3. What have each of these players valued in the past and value now.

Iron ore industry
1. Future mine supply expansions: What is the outlook of iron ore mine supply in India.
2. Iron ore supply specific to pellet plant:
- Will India’s exports of pellet increase as steel industry looks to reduce emissions and pellets are better feed than iron ore
- How will this impact growth in domestic iron ore production
- What is the capex required for setting up pellet plants, typical profitability levels etc
