Assignment Details

Our client is a top consulting firm and is looking for a data scientist to work on digital transformation project.
Project comprises of multiple workstreams related to implementation of digital tools across various business of the client (major Indian O&G player). Core focus for this role would the advanced analytics workstream where AI/ML based models are used to solve different business problems. Few areas where the models are deployed are yield optimization, cost minimization, availability improvement, etc. AI/ML techniques such as Regression (Linear & Non-Linear), Classification (Linear & Non-Linear), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Image Processing using neural networks (CNN) etc. would be used in the projects.

Deliverables include following pointers:
○ Primary proficiency in AI/ML model building using Python & R
■ Data ingestion from various sources such as SQL, Excel etc.
■ Data cleaning for modeling
■ Statistical exploratory analysis of data
■ Feature development from the processed data
■ Modeling & fine tuning it for desired results
■ Model Accuracy testing using data segmentation into train, test & validation datasets
○ Client problem understanding
○ Solution designing and identifying required data
○ Familiarity with Agile & Collaborative solution development is good to have

Skills Required

Skills relevant to projects are:
○ Coding Languages such as Python, R
○ Analytical Tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Excel etc.
○ Database languages such as SQL
○ Customer facing analytics
○ O&G experience would be plus point
