Assignment Details

The Wadhwani Foundation is looking to engage with a Resource Planning and Staffing consultant who will be administering staffing and resource plans to manage up and down scaling of resources. The Consultant would be supporting on planning, organizing and scheduling manpower requirement across initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Managing the manpower planning cycle and plans in alignment with the Initiative's strategic directions on manpower management and growth to ensure that the workforce can be optimized to deliver on organizational priorities and the operating plan
2. Harmonizing the manpower planning, working closely with Initiative Leader and Regional Heads and seconded consultants
3. Instituting structured and disciplined manpower requisition and established management processes through the development of guidelines, requirements and templates
4. Gathering and analysing data, using advanced staff planning and professional capacity utilization models and tools, to generate meaningful insights and drive
actions on the initiative’s existing and future workforce, to ensure that employees can be managed to deliver business results and value to patients
5. Staffing the Wadhwani Foundation and seconded consultants based on industry, competency, region/ location, SME persona, PMO needs and other considerations
6. Effectively planning and monitoring consultant’s adherence to assigned schedule in terms of hours and deliverable, outputs and outcomes for both the SMEs and Wadhwani Advantage
7. Developing and improving forecasting models using staffing tools
8. Institutionalizing time management. Manage the analyses of daily, weekly, and
monthly time sheet of daily time being used for consulting, PMO, Knowledge
dissemination, Learning, implementation of transformation agenda, etc, staff leaves/ absence, lower or higher utilization, dynamically reallocating resources as per their competencies
9. Running what-if scenarios for associate staffing and make proper use of tools
10. Fully leveraging existing technology and build new scheduling platforms and models to help business achieve success
11. Developing and managing scheduling methodologies for WF initiatives. Assist the development of Workforce Management & Scheduling system by partnering with in-house technology teams

Note: This project requires full time remote support for 3 months (extendable)

Skills Required

1. Prior working experience in strategic workforce planning at IT Consulting Firms is a must
2. Good interpersonal, facilitating and influencing skills to engage a wide spectrum of external and internal stakeholders
3. Able to conceptualize, work independently, resourceful, numeric and analytical with a ‘hands-on disposition. Has an open mind set that is attuned to the evolving business needs and dynamism of the organization
4. Excellent written communication skills with sound working knowledge of
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
5. Excellent team lead and team player. Able to lead, motivate and develop team members
6. Excellent planning, time and project management skills with the ability to deal with multiple demands on time and deal with ambiguity
7. Strong data mining skills
