Our client, a leading global specialist in energy management and automation is looking to engage with a Consultant.
Role overview- The Developer will be part of the Custom Applications team under Schneider Electric’s Enterprise IT organization. This role requires strong expertise in modern web application development and a deep understanding of enterprise application landscapes.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications while working closely with business and IT stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze and understand business requirements from both functional and technical perspectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js and Node.js with TypeScript.
• Build and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS Lambda and EC2.
• Develop and optimize database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL.
• Take ownership of end-to-end delivery for projects, change requests, and defect fixes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across modules and applications.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation practices, and quality guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing operations.
• Contribute actively to Agile/Scrum processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in full stack application development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
o React.js (with TypeScript)
o Node.js (with TypeScript)
• Solid experience with AWS services, especially AWS Lambda.
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL (database design, indexing, performance tuning).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Git and version control best practices.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and release management.
• Strong understanding of:
o Web application architecture
o Security best practices (authentication, authorization, etc.)
o Performance optimization techniques
• Proven ability to work on complex enterprise solutions integrating with large systems.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Ability to independently own modules/features and drive them to completion.
