Assignment Details

Our client, a global specialist in energy management, automation and digitalization is looking to engage with a cloud platform engineer to design, automate, secure, and manage AWS-based infrastructure and data platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, automate, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform to ensure scalable and reliable cloud environments.
Administer and optimize data platforms such as Apache Airflow, Amazon Neptune, and Amazon Redshift.
Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, integrating security checks and access controls.
Implement security best practices including IAM policies, encryption, secrets management, and compliance frameworks (CIS/NIST).
Set up monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry) to maintain system performance and quickly resolve incidents.
Manage core AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, ECS/EKS) while supporting backup, disaster recovery, and overall platform reliability.

Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, and container platforms (ECS/EKS).
Strong proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code for building automated, scalable environments.
Experience developing secure CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions.
Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and policy-as-code.
Expertise in managing data platforms such as Apache Airflow, Amazon Neptune, and Amazon Redshift.
Knowledge of cloud security standards, monitoring tools, and scripting (Python preferred) for automation and troubleshooting.
