Our client, a global leader in energy management and automation, is seeking a Factory Detail Design Engineer with technology skills, solution oriented technical background on multi product mechanical installation and electrical integration of Electrical and Telecom equipment within containerized Prefab Data Center solution.
Key Responsibilities and Scope:
Detailed Engineering design package: drawings, interconnection diagrams, mechanical and electrical drawings of LV and complete Prefab DC solution, BOM (Equipment, materials from Schneider or OG)
Technical support, supervision, and assessment
Technical validations of all IG and OG equipment and Issue resolution
First point of escalation in case of any doubt on the design between the LoB and the plant
Support to the PM team and other teams in the plant
Solution consistency within the design approved from the customer
Support to tendering team when required
Front Office or customer facing when needed
Support to Prefab’s Commissioning, PM, and Quality teams
To ensure that Prefab best practices are being deployed.
Close coordination with Project Engineer – Team work
- Electrical and Mechanical Design Engineer
- Previous Industrial experience (5+) on multi product design (Electrical and Mechanical), preferably Solution/Project
- Skills to evaluate & validate systems/solutions according to local standards.
- Design skills: BIM, AutoCAD, Revit, Solidworks, Inventor, MS Access
- Experience in assemblies and multi equipment integration
- Advanced project construction drawings and schemes, (CAD and/or 3D software)
- Microsoft office proficiency, Microsoft Project, MS Access
