Our client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is looking to engage with a Consultant - Electronic Test Engineer.
This Consultant will be working as a Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) and Product Test Engineer.
Scope of Work:
1. Collaborate with team Design/Engineering, project, supplier and manufacturing plant for design develop manufacture and qualification of PCBA testing process and equipment.
2. Analyze the circuits and schematic for various Digital, Analog and Power supply circuits in PCB Design.
3. Perform Test FMEA for PCBA test coverage. Ensure PCBA robustness with effective testing
4. Propose various test coverage improvement solutions for the new design when the coverage is less, like In-circuit test, Boundary scan, frame scan, vector scan, self-embedded test etc.
5. Able to understand the requirement of Chip level or PCBA Level Firmware flashing to develop best industrial solutions.
6. Define industrial specification for PCBA and product level testers including test sequencing.
7. Incorporate solutions related to Cybersecurity threats in new products DESIGN and Impacts on Testers development.
8. Qualify testers meeting quality needs and validate with quality tools like SPC MSA FPY etc.
9. Analyze failure detect root cause and fix with robust action plan.
Required Skills and Past Experience/ Knowledge:
1. In-Circuit Test, Flying Probe Test, Automated Optical Inspection tests and PCBA and product level test.
2. Test software platforms such as Lab view, Tests and and Lab windows.
3. Knowledge on various communication protocols used in products communication and testers development including RF and wireless technologies.
4. Knowledge on PCB manufacturing technologies and PCB Assembly process.
This role is for a Duration of 2-4 Months (Extendable, basis client requirement) based Onsite (In-Office) in a Full Time Capacity in Bangalore.
Skills Required
1. B.E Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics
2. Experience in testers development for PCBA and product level testers.
3. Hands on experience in Testability analysis for New PCB Assembly Design and should have experience in Test way or FABmaster or any Testability tools.
4. Hands on experience on Product level Firmware architecture, impacts on PCBA and product developments.
