Assignment Details

Our client, a leading American multinational manufacturer of confectionery and pet food, is looking to engage with a Procurement Consultant.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage procurement processes for factory consumables and equipment related to factory operations.
2. Ensure timely sourcing and delivery of required materials while adhering to budgetary constraints.
3. Collaborate with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
4. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and vendor contracts.
5. Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
6. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and specifications.
7. Implement best practices in procurement processes to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
8. Monitor inventory levels and initiate reordering as necessary to prevent stockouts or delays in production.

Work Model - (2-3 days from office, rest WFH),

Skills Required

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in procurement, with a strong understanding of procurement fundamentals.
3. Familiarity with factory operations and facility management processes.
4. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
7. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
8.
Experience in capex procurement is preferred but not required.
