Our client, an American multinational consumer products company is looking to engage with a Consultant Business Partner – Packaging Executive.
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a proactive Packaging Executive to support the Oral Care – Toothpaste category by leading H1 and other cross-functional packaging projects. This role will focus on developing and validating primary and secondary packaging, aligning with marketing briefs and ensuring timely delivery in accordance with global packaging standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and support packaging projects under the guidance of the Packaging Development Manager.
2. Manage end-to-end development of assigned packaging initiatives, including testing, documentation, and supplier coordination.
3. Evaluate and qualify packaging components using standardized and custom testing protocols.
4. Maintain accurate technical documentation, including specifications, test results, and reports.
5. Liaise with cross-functional teams including R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Quality for seamless execution.
6. Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities and recyclable packaging structures.
7. Conduct plant trials and work closely with packaging suppliers to resolve manufacturing or supply chain issues.
9. Stay updated on packaging innovation, sustainability trends, and regulatory compliance.
10. Frequent updates in grammage, artwork, and specifications require agile project coordination.
11. Manage complex technical packaging issues across diverse manufacturing setups.
12. Support for contingency sourcing, packaging standardization, and backup planning.
12. Enable rapid scale-up of cost-effective packs for emerging channels like D2C and e-commerce.
