Our client, a leading global FMCG organization, is looking to engage with a Supply Planning Specialist for a 6-month full-time assignment based out of Mumbai.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in production planning, inventory management, and cross-functional coordination within the FMCG or food industry. The role requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional who can align supply plans with business objectives and ensure smooth execution across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities;
- Develop and execute supply plans to meet demand forecasts while optimizing inventory levels.
- Lead production planning activities in collaboration with manufacturing units and demand planners.
- Monitor and manage inventory across the supply chain to ensure product availability and minimize waste.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehousing teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods.
- Utilize SAP and other planning tools to manage supply data, generate reports, and drive decision-making.
- Identify supply risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align supply plans with business goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply planning processes and systems.
- Prepare and present supply planning insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

-5+ years of experience in supply planning, preferably in FMCG or food industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel; experience with planning tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Educational background in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field; MBA preferred.
